Incorporating half-timber design in the new shed

I recently watched Mathias Burger’s three fascinating videos about his half-timbered house remodel in Germany.

I was so inspired, immediately decided to incorporate some half-timber design for our new shed.  However, since we don’t have half-timber, I’ll substitute with 2″ x 6″ lumber to strengthen the cob / stick walls and provide more lumber to attach “stuff” to.

I watched the English versions, but am looking forward to watching in German next time.
